List of Coconut-free soaps

Did you know that most soaps are made using coconut oil or sodium laurel sulfate, etc? This list is always a work in progress, but so far I am happy to say that I have found a few soaps that will make me wash with something other than water again:

Kiss my Face:
Pure Olive Oil Bar Soap (in addition to plain olive oil, there are several different varieties with no coconut)

Trader Joes:
Oatmeal Honey Bar Soap

I think Trader Joes has ditched their soap, they NEVER have it anymore.

Try using Val's. My sister uses it, and she is allergic to Coconuts/nuts/etc.

I always used Kiss my Face. The last bar or two I still am having a reaction..wondering if it could be cross contamination. I got fed up and started making my own soap. Anyone else experience this?

That would be scary if something so small as cross contamination could be making your skin react! Did you get the plain kind or the kind with different additives? Have you been to an allergist and dermatologist?

Okay, I'm full speed ahead. I purchased several bars of Kiss My Face Pure Olive Oil Bar Soap. Also, I bought the Trial 5 Elements Morrocco Method Hair Care Rotation Product, to see if they work for me. I'm on to the Badger Broad Spectrum SPF 30 For Face and Body, and I've even checked out UV Skinz website for their swim shirts. I've spend days at my computer, seriously, trying to muddle my way through this stuff. But I think I'm on my way.

I love coconut too, and I put So Delicious Coconut Creamer in my coffee every morning, but I'm eliminating other items that are suspect. I hope it's not the creamer! That would be bad!

Anybody have any updates on face soaps or washes? Things have changed since 2008, 2009, with some of these blog comments. Just wanting some new ideas... ;)
