My worst coconut allergy is to movie theater popcorn (many still put coconut oil in the butter, even when they say its got real butter in it).

ow banned from all mysterious whippy things at pot-luck dinners!In fact, many processed foods contain some form of coconut, like this store brand "Mexican Lasagne." It has "fractionated coconut oil" in its chili spice. AAgh! Is nothing safe?

Wasn't Christmas the worst for folks allergic to coconut? You wouldn't believe all the chocolates that contain coconut oil! Not to mention the foods that overtly contain coconut.
My daughter ate Chewy SweetTarts today and had a swollen mouth. Sure enough...Coconut oil! Who knew?
I learned that it's not the butter I'm allergic to, but the salt. I love to pop my own popcorn at home on movie night. That way I know just what I'm getting. I bought the nice popcorn oil and salt. Low and behold, coconut oil was in the popcorn salt. The oil was just fine. So, fair warning... Act II uses coconut oil in the popcorn salt!

The day that we brought our second baby home from the hospital, my husband brought home sweet potatoes from Boston Market (we live in VA). I got so very sick and had to take Benadryl. It was a horrible first night home. So stay away from prepared sweet potatoes as well. Thanks again!
I recently received a tin full of Halloween goodies which included candy corn and the mallowcreme pumpkins. I looked at the packaging to check the calorie content and found that they contained coconut oil!
